Select Physical Therapy-Tampa Bay Certify at AIB

Published on: October 10, 2011

Select Physical Therapists from around Tampa Bay participated in a 2-day Vestibular Workshop and Certification Program at AIB on October 7-8th.  The Workshop, led by Drs. Richard Gans and Kenton Tarver, emphasized common vestibular disorders, diagnosis based therapy strategies and hands-on manual practice treating positional vertigo with Canalith Repositioning Manuevers. Therapists must succesfully complete the course and pass a written and manual exam to obtain certification.  Select Phyical Therapy, the country’s largest outpatient physical therapy company with over 1200 clinics and hospitals, has been an AIB Affiliate Provider since 2008.
