How Does the Certification Renewal Process Work?

To maintain your AIB Certification, you must complete an online examination every 2 years. This exam is based on foundational content and recent evidence-based research published after the date of your original certification workshop. Renewal helps ensure that all AIB-certified clinicians are up-to-date on the latest techniques and research in vestibular and concussion management.

Here’s how the process works:

1. Purchase the Certification Renewal Exam: Once you purchase the renewal exam, you will be granted access to 5-10 research articles via your AIB account. These articles form the foundation of the exam.

2. Review the Research Articles: You can review the articles at your own pace. The exam is not timed, allowing you the flexibility to study and reflect on the material thoroughly.

3. Take the Exam: The exam format may include:

   • Multiple-choice questions
   • True/false questions
   • Case-based scenarios

The exam must be completed AND submitted by your Certification Expiration Date.

How Much Does it Cost?

AIB offers several certifications with varying CEUs (Continuing Education Units) and prices for renewal. Choose the option that corresponds to your current certification:

• Vestibular Rehabilitation (2.5 CEUs) – $195
• Vestibular Rehabilitation & Concussion Management (5.0 CEUs) – $245
