Josephine Fernandez

Dr. Josephine Fernandez received her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) from The University of Cincinnati. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish from The University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Fernandez completed her residency here at The American Institute of Balance.

She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-A) from The American Speech Language Hearing Association. Dr. Fernandez serves as AIB’s University Liaison, serving as a mentor and developing the clinical skills of AIB’s doctoral residents as a preceptor. Her primary clinical interests include interdisciplinary triage of vestibular and balance disorders and treatment of BPPV. She prioritizes patient-centered care and strives to deliver optimal outcomes.
