Course Description

Dizziness and vertigo are among the most common complaints of patients to physicians. These somewhat generic complaints can be challenging for physicians because they may result from many different types of pathology. Neurodiagnostic evaluation of the vestibular system is a foundational component in continuum of care for patients suffering from dizziness and vertigo and offers valuable insight into the cause of the complaint. All physicians should be aware of the diagnostic and treatment option for dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance. This course will offer basic knowledge on some of the most common causes of these symptoms, the current state of diagnostic testing protocols, and the most effective treatment options for these patients. The course content will explore dizziness and balance testing and how these tests are applied to the continuum of care to produce excellent outcomes in patients with these complaints.
