On Campus Workshops
The Education Foundation professional workshops have trained thousands of audiologists, physicians, physical and occupational therapists from virtually every state and as far away at Taiwan and Hong Kong. The Education Foundation's mission is to lead the world in vestibular and equilibrium education.
The Education Foundation's workshops are conducted at The American Institute of Balance, one of the country's most prolific dizziness and balance centers. This offers workshop participants the opportunity to learn within a real-world setting with "hands-on" experience. All workshops are conducted in a small group learning environment.
Certification now available!
Certification
AIB Education Foundation will now certify its workshop participants who wish to receive this designation. Certification is voluntary for workshop attendees. Certification may be obtained by Audiologists and Physicians in Vestibular Assessment or Vestibular Assessment and Management (35 hours). Physical and Occupational Therapists may be certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation (21 hours). Following the educational requisite there is a written and practical test. The cost of the initial two-year certification is $250. Re-certification is $125, for each two year period thereafter.
Accreditation
The American Institute of Balance Education Foundation is approved by the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) to offer CEUs for these workshops.
Approval of these continuing education workshops by AAA and FPTA does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clinical procedures.
